This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) outlines the acceptable use of the Fulcrum platform, including its website (https://www.fulcrumapp.com/), applications, services, and software (collectively, the “Service”). Fulcrum has adopted this Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) to govern the use of its services (the “Services”) by its customers (“Customers” or “you”) and by users that have gained access to the Services through Customer accounts (“Users”). This AUP is designed to protect Fulcrum, the Services, Customers, and Users from improper activity and to improve the Services and to improve Services offerings.

1. Permitted Use
The Fulcrum Service is intended for the development, deployment, and management of mobile and web applications. You may use the Service to:
- Design, build, and test your applications.
- Collect and manage data through your applications.
- Deploy your applications to authorized users.
- Access and utilize Fulcrum’s features in accordance with this AUP.
2. Permitted Use with Limitations
Certain capabilities within Fulcrum may be used as required by the customer with certain reasonable limitations to prevent improper use or performance degradation.
- Fulcrum Org: Fulcrum Orgs should be used and accessed only by members of a single organization, their contractors, and members of a common shared services organization (e.g., a holding company or Central IT department)
- Fulcrum License: A Fulcrum license is tied to a single individual within an organization and should be deployed to no more than two (2) devices at any given time. Additional devices for the same user, beyond the two (2) stipulated, should be provisioned with additional licenses.
- Fulcrum Storage: Fulcrum storage should only be used for storing pictures, videos, audio files, and documents directly related to the work being performed by each Fulcrum App.
- Data Events: The code and API calls within data events should be limited to those necessary for your application’s intended purpose and compliant with the terms of service of the respective external API provider. The code should endeavor to minimize the amount of data being transmitted in both directions to minimize the impact on performance. The code should limit the number of API calls being made or is otherwise subject to rate limitations imposed by the Fulcrum Operations Team.
3. Minimum Technology Requirements for Acceptable Use

- Hardware & OS Requirements: Users accessing Fulcrum must use mobile devices that meet or exceed minimum hardware & OS specifications for iOS and Android devices. Adhering to these specifications will ensure the devices are supported on the Fulcrum platform. Given that these specifications evolve over time the requirements can be found at the link above.
- Security Patches: Users must maintain their mobile device’s operating system with the latest security patches.
- Fulcrum App Version Maintenance: Users must have installed a version of the Fulcrum mobile application released within the last 90 days to both maintain access to the service and to receive support from the Fulcrum Technical Support team. 4. Prohibited Use
Develop, deploy, or store applications that:
- Infringe on intellectual property rights of others, including copyrights, trademarks, or trade secrets.
- Contain malware, viruses, spyware, or other harmful code.
- Are used for illegal activities, such as hacking, phishing, or spamming.
- Promote violence, hate speech, or discrimination.
- Exploit, abuse, or endanger children.
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Platform.
- Gain unauthorized access to the Platform or user accounts.
- Interfere with the normal operation of the Platform or its Services.
- Transmit unsolicited commercial emails or spam.
- Use the Platform for any purpose other than its intended use.
In addition to the general prohibitions outlined in the Fulcrum AUP, the following are specifically prohibited when using the JavaScript Functionality:
- Unauthorized Access: Using external API calls to access data or systems you are not authorized to access.
- Data Exfiltration: Extracting or transferring data from the Fulcrum platform or external APIs in violation of their terms or applicable laws.
- Denial-of-Service Attacks: Making excessive or abusive API calls that could disrupt the functioning of the Fulcrum platform or external services.
- Insecure Code: Uploading JavaScript code containing security vulnerabilities that could compromise the Fulcrum platform or user data.
- Malicious Code: Uploading JavaScript code designed to harm the Fulcrum platform, user data, or external systems.
- Bypassing Security Measures: Using JavaScript code to circumvent Fulcrum’s security controls or access unauthorized functionalities.
5. Enforcement
Fulcrum may take action, including account suspension or termination, if you violate this AUP. Fulcrum reserves the right to report any illegal activity to law enforcement officials.
