Direct Current Voltage Gradient Survey

Conduct your DCVG survey using this customizable app - Collect distance measurements, reading location, and photographs taken during the survey.

A Direct Current Voltage Gradient (DCVG) survey is a non-intrusive, above ground survey technique used for locating and assessing corrosion or damage on buried pipeline or cable. Prior to performing costly excavations to perform pipeline or cable repairs, conduct a survey using this mobile app to identify the exact coordinates of problematic locations. Collect GPS locations, percent intensity (current) of resistance (%IR), and other DCVG measurements using this mobile survey and customize the form to fulfill specific needs of your project.

This app cannot be automatically loaded in AU, CA, or the EU.

FAQs

What does Fulcrum do?

Fulcrum enables organizations to standardize field data collection, customize data collection processess, and integrate field data with enterprise systems such as GIS and back-office platforms.

Are you SaaS or on-premises?

Fulcrum is strictly a Software-as-a -Service FieldTech product. Our SaaS implementation is hosted on AWS and we are SOC 2 Type II certified.

What kinds of skills do we need to implement Fulcrum?

Fulcrum deployments typically include an app administrator, proficient in basic spreadsheet management, and a business administrator responsible for user management, data analysis, and various related tasks.

What if I don’t have those skills available on my team?

We offer professional and managed services tailored to your needs. Whether you prefer training your team for independence or having us manage ongoing requirements, we can help.

How “real-time” are you?

Fulcrum provides automatic synchronization to share records between the mobile device and server. In “real-time,” this syncing occurs within seconds to a couple of minutes as long as there’s an internet connection.

Can Fulcrum connect to my sub-meter Bluetooth GPS unit?

Yes. Fulcrum uses your mobile device’s GPS location by default. When you connect a Bluetooth GPS receiver, it replaces your device’s coordinates with more accurate ones from the GPS receiver.

Can we do a proof of concept or pilot?

Absolutely! Contact us to set up a custom plan to get started.

Does Fulcrum work completely offline?

Fulcrum is built to function without an internet connection. When you reconnect to the internet, it will automatically sync your records and update the mobile app with new data from the server.
