Get great results by default with Esri

Great news! Beginning April 12, 2023, Esri’s GIS software becomes the default mapping tool in Fulcrum’s mobile platform.

Esri is the gold standard of location intelligence software, with users ranging from Burger King to Cisco to NASA. We automatically provide our customers with Esri’s pioneering and powerful GIS capabilities.

Furthermore, by employing the Esri software development kit (SDK) for mobile devices, Fulcrum gains faster access to advanced features. Simultaneously, as Esri maps are introduced on Fulcrum mobile apps, a new feature emerges: user-defined labels on pins in maps. With a label, representing the record’s title, on each pin, users can access information without tapping on them. Beta users have reported increased productivity, and we believe you’ll also find this feature beneficial.

What do I have to do to get these features?

Your account will automatically have access to Esri as Fulcrum’s default mapping application on the mobile app, though users may need to update to the latest versions – iOS 4.0.0 and Android 4.0.0 – to see the change. If some of your users don’t see the latest version yet, don’t worry! Our phased rollout should reach all users within the next couple of days.

As always, if you have any questions or need help, please don’t hesitate to contact our customer support team. And thank you for your continued support as we grow and evolve!
