Spatial Networks 2018 in review

December 26, 2018

As we look back at 2018 in review and all that the Spatial Networks team has accomplished, I’d like to share a number with you: 130,021,386.

It’s a staggering amount, 130 million.

What’s the significance? It’s the number of data records our customers have collected with Fulcrum so far.

Mind you, that number is about two weeks old, so it’s higher now.

Every year around this time, I ask my CTO, Zac, to collect metrics around our customers’ usage of our mobile data collection platform. And year after year, I’m amazed.

More 2018 metrics

Here are a few more numbers he shared with me:

  • 110,000 people have used Fulcrum
  • 47,000 different organizations have used it for field data collection
  • 180 countries where Fulcrum has been used

Those numbers are a testament to the talent and commitment of the Spatial Networks team.

What’s even more exciting is that I expect Zac’s 2019 metrics to dwarf those from previous years. We have several new products in development and have made significant infrastructure investments to scale the business in the coming months and years.

Spatial Networks enters 2019 with 53 full-time employees, marking a 60% growth in headcount since 2017. This includes the addition of two key executives: Executive Vice President for Government Solutions, Brian Monheiser, and Chief Strategy Officer, Derek Nadalini.

Next year, we plan to hire a Chief Marketing Officer along with 14 other new team members.

Let it suffice to say: 2019 is going to be a big year. See you then.
